Road without roadies
Sun, Sep. 27 2009
We're starting to feel like a road band after back to back shows this past weekend. The barn dance at Codman Farm in Lincoln on Friday night, one of our favorite annual gigs, was a huge kick watching everyone dance. Thanks to Stan for doing sound, and all the staff at Codman for welcoming us. Saturday we played in the new gazebo at the Hopkinton Polyarts festival, right next to the Boston Marathon starting line. It was a gorgeous day.
Harvest in Hudson

We're working on new originals and covers songs for a mellow yet vibrant set for our next show at the Harvest Cafe in Hudson, MA, just 40 minutes west of Boston on June 20. Brent first played solo there a couple of weeks ago and was so well received, the entire band was invited. The Harvest is one of those cherished spots that brighten a town, hosting local music, poetry, and art.
Bemis Extremis

We had a blast at our show April 4th at Bemis Hall in Lincoln. It was a huge kick as usual to see everyone dancing, and Bemis is such a classic town venue. New bassist Scott was lockin' and rockin' that groove, which was evident on the dance floor. Thanks to all of you who came out to shake it!
